A quick guide to entering notes, editing patterns, shaping sounds, and building an arrangement in the browser prototype.
Click anywhere on the instrument first so it receives keyboard input. Select Start audio before playing if audio has not started yet.
Select a row, make sure EDIT is active, then play a note on your computer keyboard or a connected MIDI controller. The lower computer-keyboard octave runs from Z through M; the upper octave runs from Q through U. The adjacent number and letter keys provide the sharps and flats.
Hold several notes together and the sequencer captures them as one chord on the selected step. Engines that support polyphony keep the exact voicing, up to six notes. Monophonic engines record a single note instead.
A quick press advances one row when you release it. Hold a note or chord for more than one second and the cursor advances one row per second while the sound remains held. Releasing the final key advances one more row.
Move to the cell you want to clear and press encoder 6, the encoder below CELL on the display. This clears the selected cell and advances to the next row.
Hold Shift and press encoder 6. This clears all 64 steps in the current pattern without changing the other three patterns.
Turn the NAV encoder to move between rows, or use the Up and Down Arrow keys. Press NAV to move to the next editable field; Left and Right Arrow move between fields on a computer keyboard.
Press P1, P2, P3, or P4. When playback is stopped, the selected pattern opens immediately. During playback, Seeq queues it and switches after the current pattern finishes. Each pattern keeps its own notes, automation, length, and sound settings.
Press MODE until you reach the Song screen. Each row references a pattern and a repeat count. Encoder 1 changes the selected pattern, encoder 2 changes its repeats, encoder 3 sets tempo, and encoder 4 sets pattern length. EDIT inserts a row; Shift + EDIT deletes one.
Use MODE to move from the sequencer to the instrument pages. The six encoders map to the six parameters shown along the bottom of the screen. Turn an encoder to change its value; hold Shift while turning for finer adjustments.
Press Play or the Space bar to play or pause the current pattern. Hold Shift and press Play—or Shift + Space—to start from the beginning. Press Stop to stop playback and return the playhead to row 00.

Use a current desktop browser and select Start audio. Browsers require this interaction before they can play sound.
MIDI is optional. In a browser with Web MIDI support, connect a controller, open Settings, and grant access when prompted.
Setup guides, hardware documentation, warranty terms, and direct support details will be published before orders open.
